Happy Holidays from Concordia

Dear friends,

As the year draws to a close, we continue to reflect on what has been a transformative year for Concordia. From hosting our first international summits to convening the largest forum alongside the United Nations General Assembly, we are more poised than ever to achieve positive social impact in 2018.

Against the backdrop of an increasingly partisan world, Concordia believes that partnerships and inclusivity are the keys to a prosperous future. By elevating voices from across the globe, we are able to transform conversations into action and build long-term partnerships among unlikely actors.

Over the past year, we have convened more than 4,500 unique opinions, representing every sector, industry, and demographic. We made great strides in our key issue areas, incorporated an experiential Day of Engagement into our summits, and greatly expanded our membership community -- tripling the number of patron members, doubling individual members, and beginning a robust young professionals program.

Concordia's impact would not be possible without your generous support. Through our Leadership Council, Members, Advisors, Sponsors, Partners, Board of Directors, and community of stakeholders, we are able to transition from a convener to a partnership-broker.

Concordia has an ambitious agenda for 2018, and we invite you to join us. We hope you will consider becoming a member or making a year-end contribution. Thank you for your support, and we wish you a happy holiday and healthy new year!

Warm wishes,

Save The Date: Global Partnerships Week 2018

Dear friends,

The U.S. Department of State's Office of Global Partnerships, USAID, Concordia, and PeaceTech Lab invite you to participate in Global Partnerships Week from March 5-9, 2018.

Kicking off the week on March 5, the Partnership Practitioners Forum in Washington, D.C. will celebrate uncommon solutions to accelerate public-private partnerships from start to scale.

ADD THE GPW PRACTITIONERS FORUM TO YOUR CALENDAR:

Global diplomacy and development challenges need creative solutions. Mobilizing partnerships that tap into the best innovation and expertise from governments, NGOs, and businesses can result in effective, scalable new approaches to solving our world's top challenges.

Global Partnerships Week (GPW) 2018 will examine how public-private partnerships can identify, create, and scale those solutions.

The Partnership Practitioners Forum on March 5, held at the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., will highlight the practical steps and strategies organizations can use to identify unique partners, and build on early successes for long-term impact. The day will provide opportunities to connect and share best practices through panels, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities.

Throughout the remainder of the week, self-organized events that serve to illuminate existing collaborations will take place around the world, from large-scale conferences and panels to intimate networking gatherings or webinars.

We hope you will join us in March 2018 as we continue to advance these critical discussions through the lens of partnership.
